Here’s some examples in the wild:

02 HiveTip - Start Your Social Media Hall of Fame

Anytime you click on a video on YouTube or engage with a piece of content on social media from someone you’ve never interacted with, copy the link to that content and put it in whatever digital notes app you use and take a moment to jot down what about it made you click on it.

Wherever you keep these pieces of content is now your Social Media Hall of Fame. This Hall of Fame could be in Notion, Apple Notes, a Google Doc, etc. Wherever you’re most likely to be able to revisit it over time.

As you continue to add to your Hall of Fame, and as you return to it over time, you should start to be able to see what kinds of things grab your attention and entertain you. There’s a good chance that some of those same things would work for your audience.

03 HiveTool - ChatGPT for ADHD

The tool for this week is actually a prompt for ChatGPT in case you have ADHD and need a robotic helper buddy. We found it in a random FB group, so if you know who originally wrote it, please reach out and we’ll link them.

Click into the Google Doc linked below and copy and paste the text into ChatGPT and replace [Your Name] with your actual name, and then have a little conversation with ChatGPT to help you prioritize your actions:

04 HiveTake - Social Media Is Changing

Social media is not what it used to be. What’s the biggest change? In the past, platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn were way more focused on showing your followers your content. In this way social media was more “local”.

Nowadays, all algorithms are moving more towards the TikTok model, meaning whether you want to be shown to your followers or strangers, you need to be thinking global with your content. And this means we all need to step up our content game if we want to stay relevant.

Check out this reel we made talking more about some of the specific tips we suggest in this changing landscape:

Until next time,
