🐝 The Business Buzz ☕️
Happy Monday!
Here’s the Business Buzz with A Helpful Trend, Tip, Tool, and
a Hot Take from HiveThink to help you this week.
01 HiveTrend - Video Replies As Posts
On most platforms that use short-form videos, you can make video replies to comments on posts.
This is becoming more commonplace online and is a powerful way to generate content that builds community.
✨ Benefits:
The person you reply to will likely feel special.
Your audience will learn that you care about comments.
It adds a greater sense of community.
It incentivizes people to comment, with the potential for increased exposure.
02 HiveTip - Where To Find Content Ideas?
"The comment section is the creative brief." - a loosely paraphrased quote from GaryVee
One effective strategy for business owners to find content ideas is to look at the comment sections of their own posts. If there are no comments, they can look at the comment sections of people doing well online in their industry.
❤️ This shows you what people love, what they hate, and what they care enough about to interact with.
Go read some comments!
03 HiveTool - Super Quick Screenshot Sharing
Built-in screenshot software is pretty good, but if you want an alternative that allows you to take a screenshot and immediately copy and paste it into documents, emails, notes apps, etc., check out Lightshot Screenshot for Mac and Windows.
🏃🏻♂️ You can save screenshots to your desktop, but you can also copy and paste them directly without having to save them, which keeps things moving quickly.
I’ve been using it for years and absolutely love it.
It’s free to download, and I don’t remember ever having to pay anything to unlock additional features, so give it a shot!
Click here to check it out.
04 HiveTake - You Get To Choose
You get to choose what winning looks like for you.
You get to choose how you plan to get there.
How you respond when things don’t work.
When they do.
When to pivot, and to what.
When to push through.
How to allocate resources.
How to handle conflict (internal or external).
At the end of the day, there are really only two core action types whether in business, life, art, relationships, etc.
Choosing and Doing.
Make a decision. Do the decision.
Make a decision.
Do the decision.
You get to choose.
Until next time,
The HiveThink Team
P.S. We’ve been super busy, so it’s been a minute since we did a podcast. We’re hoping to get back to it soon, better and stronger than ever. In the meantime, here’s one of my favorite podcast episodes from Tim Ferriss. It’s a solo episode called “Testing The ‘Impossible’: 17 Questions That Changed My Life.”
Click here to give it a listen.
I’ve listened to it probably 20 times so far between past listens and recently playing it over and over.
